Snack Time!

My very kind and generous neighbors brought us a bunch of Christmas treats back in December. Everything was delicious but one thing caught my eye and taste buds. I love salty and sweet snacks and having those flavors together in one snack is heaven.

Do I even need to list the ingredients? Pretzels, Hershey Kisses, M&Ms.

Directions

1. Put pretzels on a sheet pan.
2. Wrap Kisses and put in the center of the pretzel.
3. Bake at 325F for 2 minutes.
4. Push an M&M in the center
5. Cool in refrigerator.

  1. I've been making these for years! Some of my holiday favorites to give as gifts or take to a party.

  3. Very cute! I've never seen them done like this, so I must try them! My friend makes the same type of ting using the pretzel squares with a Rolo on top (caramel.... yum!) and then a pecan on top of that. They're awesome! When I made some, instead of using regular pecans, I used the "seasoned" ones (first the ones that are glazed, then the ones that are dusted with cinnamon, that you get in the bulk bins at Giant), and... WOW! I've also made them just with the Rolo and then another pretzel square on top, which also works out nicely. :-)

  4. I make mine with Hershey's HUGS! Talk about a tummy temptation!!! This year I used the square waffle pretzels and only used red and green M&M's with the Hershey's hugs. There is something about the mix of white and milk chocolate that makes these treats even better! AND they are so fun to look at!!!!

  5. I almost bought the square pretzels thinking they would hold the kiss better. May I'll try them next time and maybe try rolos, pecans, and hugs too!

  6. The square ones do hold the chocolate better and if you do rolos, you almost have to use the square ones because the others allow for the caramel to ooze out. Also, if you do rolos, it's best to set your oven to warm and check them every minute or so...at 325 they can scorch really fast!

  7. My neighbor said she makes hers at 200F for 4-5 minutes. I'm too impatient for that so I cranked it up to 325F and was careful to watch the timer.
